Do you know Kamui's twin brother, Subaru?

I've only spoken with him once, but I've heard a lot about him from Kamui. He says we have similar eyes.

...Just check the Dreamberry. [ Itachi, even though he held an ever calm voice, seemed to hold just the faintest touch of exasperation. He took another bite of cake. ]

[He switches over for a moment before switching back to Itachi.]

[ Itachi was busy downing a milkshake; screw the straw. he had picked up the glass and was drinking is straight brain freeze be damned. ]

It is the life philosophy of the shinobi of Konoha; the spiritual belief passed down by the first ancestor. 'The path to peace is Love'. And, the word King represents any and all you would fight for... for the Uchihas, it is usually limited to your one... important individual.

It is the ideal rooting that every shinobi must follow.

It's different, but it was between two vampire siblings and a human. Well, who was thought to be a human for a while.

The love between vampire siblings is very strong. It's not uncommon for two purebloods to form a relationship and have children. My old best friend's parents were brother and sister.

I suppose it's because vampire love is such an intense and passionate feeling that any sort of love, whether it's familial or idolization, can be distorted into something of a twisted relationship. It can be to the point where a vampire is becomes blind in any sort of possibility that the relationship can even happen.

[ There was a pause from Itachi. ]

The thing I worry about is a strain between Kamui and his own brother which puts you in a very rough position because, of course, there's the guilt of thinking that you've ruined their relationship.

It's something that Kamui and his brother will have to work out on their own. Kamui will need to be selfish. His brother will be all right.

Trust me when I say, I had to do the same thing Subaru will need to do.

[ Itachi looked at him for a bit, lowering his fork. The clinking of glasses sounded out in the background, and Itachi's red eyes seemed to be lost in thought for a moment. ]
